Linda Rehkopf is a freelance journalist specializing in canine health, wellness, and training topics. She writes for a number of newspaper, magazine, and web outlets including Patch.com and Front and Finish magazine.

Her work has earned nominations for the Maxwell Award for Excellence in Canine Writing. Her first book, DogLife Labrador Retriever, T.F.H. Publications, went to a third printing within the first week of publication.

A Labrador Retriever owner, trainer, and handler, Rehkopf competes with her dogs in the rally, obedience, and conformation rings. She is a life member of the Greater Atlanta Labrador Retriever Club, and also participates with Happy Tails Pet Therapy in the metro Atlanta area.

She also is a member of the Atlanta Writers Club.
